Mathematical Model of Malaria Transmission with Anti-Malarial Herbal Therapy as Control

چکیده
Conventional anti–malarial drugs (chloroquine, Artesunate, Quinine, Amodiaquine etc) are used by most malaria-endemic countries as first-line treatment for uncomplicated malaria. However, resistance plasmodium parasite against these conventional has necessitated the need herbal medicine alternative. So in this study, we formulate a mathematical model of malaria transmission two interacting population human (host) and mosquito (vector) incorporating anti-malarial therapy first line infection. The region where is epidemiological feasible mathematically well–posed established basic reproduction number R_0 derived using next generation matrix approach. numerical experiment carried out to access impact control measure on revealed reduction complicated infectious population. Hence research work suggests massive campaign use first- infection cases.

African Herbal Plants used as Anti-Malarial Agents - A Review
Malaria is an infectious disease caused by single-celled obligate parasite known as Plasmodium and is transmitted to man through the vector Anopheles mosquito. It has persistently been a major public health problem to the global community. As estimate has shown that globally, about 3.3 billion people were at risk of malaria in the year 2011. It has now been ranked among the world's top killer i...
متن کاملMathematical Model for Transmission Dynamics of Hepatitus C Virus with Optimal Control Strategies
An epidemic model with optimal control strategies was investigated for Hepatitus C Viral disease that can be transmitted through infected individuals. In this study, we used a deterministic compartmental model for assessing the effect of different optimal control strategies for controlling the spread of Hepatitus C disease in the community. Stability theory of differential equations is us...
متن کاملPharmacologic Inhibition of CXCL10 in Combination with Anti-malarial Therapy Eliminates Mortality Associated with Murine Model of Cerebral Malaria
Despite appropriate anti-malarial treatment, cerebral malaria (CM)-associated mortalities remain as high as 30%. Thus, adjunctive therapies are urgently needed to prevent or reduce such mortalities. Overproduction of CXCL10 in a subset of CM patients has been shown to be tightly associated with fatal human CM. Mice with deleted CXCL10 gene are partially protected against experimental cerebral m...
متن کاملAnti-malarial treatment: Herbal medicine a ray of hope
For years, conventional medicines have been broadly used for treatment of malaria. As malaria is a widespread disease, resistance of Plasmodium species towards conventional treatments has driven our attention towards the cons of this therapy. Another factor that has encouraged us to review use of these conventional medicines is their toxicity and after drug adverse effects. A large repository o...
متن کاملMathematical Model of Novel COVID-19 and Its Transmission Dynamics
In this paper, we formulated a dynamical model of COVID-19 to describe the transmission dynamics of the disease. The well possedness of the formulated model equations was proved. Both local and global stability of the disease free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium point of the model equation was established using basic reproduction number. The results show that, if the basic reproduction numb...
